Hey im new to this website and new to the bass. I've only been playing for about two months now but for some reason im catching on rather fast. Im teaching my self but i take advice from who else plays the bass. I play the drums but i've always wanted to play the bass so i bought one. I got a few people helping me out but what helps me the most is when someone gives me the notes and i memorize them then take it to the bass. i get all the hands movements right then when i pick up the bass i just take the movements and put it to sound. It took me one or two days to learn songs like Jesus is on the main line or glory glory hallujia. But i need the notes to because who you are on that newest paul morton cd. and i need whatever advice i can get. thanks.
