Title: help who sings this song first line "I moved from my old house'

old life i dont know the rest my choirs says the song is titled brand new life

or maybe new life

if anyone can help me out with a correct artist and title i would appreciate that

I have that album on vinyl.  It's called "Brand New Life."

I'd love to have that.  I bought a sweet little kit at RADIO SHACK of all places that converts cassettes and vinyl to mp3 on your computer.  I have so many classics burned on CD now it is ridiculous.  Some of this stuff was never even made on CD!  LOL!!!!

sure would like to add that number to the collection

That CD also has some other great songs on it too. It's a pretty good mixture, from Luther Barnes to the Blind Boys to Dottie Peoples to Byron Cage just to name a few.

and the track is available on rhapsody so it must be on cd

I think it is cool that we have such a powerful resource in our fellow musicians and Saints of God

that I can ask about a record and get feed back so quickly

Yeah, I remember having to LEAD that song bacc in the day.  All of u that can relate,raise ya hand if u shuddered whenever u had to sing "YO song".  I know I'm not the onliest one.
