Lead worship like a Pro. (http://content.integritydirect.com/content.html?id=articles/worshippro.html)
Yes, it's a long read; which is why I said SERIOUS Praise leaders.

Indeed.

Good stuff! I will definitely incorporate some of those principles.

Good article, overall. Thanks for the link.
But I disagree with one thing. The author states that recording artists have been deemed worthy by God to handle worldwide platforms for their music, yet mentions ministries that are supported by the music industry but lack moral/spiritual integrity. So which is it???

Without rereading the article it could be:
a. Specific artists he's mentioning such as the "Big four" as he puts it.
b. It could be both. You know there are ministries out there in the music industry that are about God's business and getting paid while others are simply out to get paid.
Again, I'd have to reread the article in order to express my idea regarding what he's saying.

I personally believe that people can get blessed and saved even through a cash-seeking Marjoe/Elmer Gantry type ministry. After all, God used a donkey to speak to Baalam... :)
But at the same time, many get hurt and disenchanted when these implode, as well as when the best-intentioned "fall down"....

WOw...that was a real good read...if you are a worship leader you need to read that and apply it...
