I can't remember them either.  :D  I know it went something like this too ....

verse 2
They hung Him high
He hung His head
They pierced His side
He bled and die
That's love, that's love...

if someone post the lyrics we could figure it out .

Hope I don't sound greedy, but I remember most of this song however not all. An audio sample would be very nice.

Musmin7's version, from what I played of the chords sounds accurate. If you need a mp3 with chords BBoy I'll post.  Sorry to the original person whom requested, the first chords I posted were in Bb instead of Ab; thats the key our choir use to sing the song, didn't look at and recognize the key until after I made the post.

It looks like I missed alot on this post:  I also made mistakes on the lyric's, I apologize.  The NUMBER "1" thing I never want to make a mistake on are lyrics because they are very important part of the song (the author is bringing a message, and it should not be taken away from or added too), MY MISTAKE TO ALL.

It was done years ago by the Gospel Music Workshop of America. You can find it on GMWA's 25th Abbiversary cd.

If I am not mistaking, I think there is a verse for the leader of the song.

"For GOD so loved the world, that he gave his only the SON. The SON, gave HIS life for me................" Then it goes "There's no greater love, no love, no where, no greater than a man whooo lay down his life for a friend". Then it goes on to the chorus "There is no greater love........"

The vamp: They hung HIM high, they stretched HIM wide, HE hung HIS, for me HE died thats love. Thats love.

Thats not how the story ends, three days later, HE rose again. Thats love. Thats love.
