Eb A D/ G C F
I play the chord as a minor 6 in the key of Eb major; m6/9 in the left hand and a quartel or G sus7 in the right. The F is what's throwing me off. Any takers?
Heres another chord: I play it as a VII7 in EbM D F# C/ F# Bb C Eb F

Looks like an F13 to me. Why would u play it as a minor 6? The minor 6 is a B/Cb.

Looks like a D7 #5/#9 to me. I don't understand why you would play this chord on a 7 though.
How about you post a progression example of how you use these 2 chords then we can better assist you. They can be 2 separate progressions, or one big one encompassing both chords.

Sorry about that, that post looks a little sloppy that I did earlier.
I use the following chords in a 7-3-6 progression in Eb
note: I switched some of the notes around so that it would emphasize the melody on top.
(7) D F# C/ F# C Eb F G D root
(3) G B F/ B Eb F
(6) Eb A D / F G C Eb C root

Do you play these chords on organ? Cuz on a piano or keyboard, that last chord sounds ugly in this progression as a 6. I'm hearing F as the root.
If you want C to be the root, then u may need to get rid of that A and F and add a Bb. That's just my opinion though.
