I need a bass head. Something in the 300 watt range. My church is temporarily using another church's building and they have PA support , a great board but no low end speakers???? So I need to get my own now. I have a couple of custom designed bass cabs. I can't afford new. Brand does not matter a whole lot. Rack mount would be nice. Light weight preferably as I am disabled and not supposed to carry heavy objects. I build custom tube guitar amps and would be willing to trade one for a bass amp. For a guitar player once you have played a high quality tube amp you can never go back to solid state. I live on the Southside of Chicago. Thanks.

DWBass has a Genz Benz Shuttle 3.0 that he may be interesting in selling. You might PM him. :)
The GK Backline 600 pushes 300 watts at 4 ohms. They can be found used for around $200 on eBay and talkbass from time to time.
