Well it's not really new; take Big Apple/American Double Fat Strat (or even the old MIM Deluxe Double Fat Strat), cost engineer it a bit and BAM!.....a "new" model. I cant stand those non-traditional knobs thugh, but for the price I guess I'll have some money left over to put some proper Stratocaster knobs on it!!!

Those knobs remind me of the Muddy Waters Tele knobs (which I believe are oldamp style knobs).
I didn't hate them, although, I expected the guitar to be all blacked out because of the name lol.

What a shame they didn't make this the Hiram Bullock model!
He was the first person I ever saw with the HH config in a strat (with single coil in the mid)
He passed recently...

Cort made it a few years ago. Fender currently makes the David Murray (Iron Maiden) Strat that has the H-S-H pickup configuration.
