Title: THE FUN OF A 12'ER
Post by: sebstyoung on December 19, 2013, 12:32:45 AM

If you play on all 12keys you'd be able to relate to this. I was @ a christmas carol gig yesterday and was the main keyboardist. I started praise on a Psr2000. The adapter got blown mid-way and I had to continue on a Roland E-70(which didnt have a transpose button). I matched on without any problem because I dont transpose anymore. The regular church keyboardist was a 12'er so he just chilled. When eventually a YGP-535 came on stage i was blazing with excitment.
Pls if u aint a 12'er just try to get into every key as you would your favorite key. most chords are repeated in other keys and its fun digging it to all keys...it just broadens your musical horizon.

Interesting term. Never heard 12'er before. I like it.
