Title: How Do You Find the Term in a rhythmic of 5 note sequences?

Correct me if I'm wrong on this one, but what is the order on these rhythmic sequences? I know it starts out with Quarter notes first. And correct me if Im wrong on this list in the order your suppose to learn them from easiest to hardest.

1) Quarter Notes - 4 notes per measure
2) Eight Notes - 8 notes per measure
3) Eight Note Triplets - 3 note per beat sequence pattern a total of 12 notes per measure
4) 16th Notes - 4 notes per beat sequence pattern a total of 16 notes per measure
5) 20th notes??? - 5 notes per beat sequence pattern a total of 20 notes per measure
6) 16th Notes Triplets - 6 notes per beat sequence pattern a total of 24 notes per measure
7) 32nd notes - 8 notes per beat sequence pattern a total of 32 notes per measure

How Do I Find the name of the 5th Term in an rhythmic Sequence?

Where did you come up with 20th notes?

iirc 8th note triplets = 24th notes

When I started learning all these different rhythm patterns, I felt like I was playing Classical music especially when playing 16th notes triplets and stuff. I really started sounding like rock'n roll players....lol!

5 equal notes per beat are known as Quintuplets, 7 equal notes are Sextuplets.

also 8th not triplets are simply eighth note triplets. you have whole, half, quarter, 8th, 16th, 32nd, 64th, etc. i've never seen any note grouping referred to as 20th's or 24th's or anything. it refers to the subdivision of the beat, not the number of notes involved.
