Title: Minister of Music Needed - South Carolina

Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church of Greenwood, SC seeking a Minister of Music
that can play piano and/or organ. Teach vocal parts and direct choir. We are looking for someone to help develop, challenge, and ultimately grow our music ministry both spiritually and in ability. Macedonia has been a traditional black baptist church, but has historically been one that is committed to progressive action. The Macedonia Church is currently committed to having a ministry that reaches all generations from the cradle to the grave (young and old). Hence, our search is one that seeks a Minister of Music/Director of Worship and Arts who is able to play traditional "black baptist" music, but extends to those who will bring "fresh flava" to identify with the spiritual needs of our youth. In other words, we are seeking to serve (minister to ) the present age (cradle to grave).
