Title: Re-Pitching the Preacher
Post by: kys23 on April 20, 2015, 12:36:31 PM
Question to experienced organists out there: When backing up the preacher, when is it ok to re-pitch them? I was in a situation where the preacher climbed up a half step, but he was struggling a little bit with that key. By struggling I mean the key was a bit high for his voice, but he was still hitting the higher note 95%. Should I have re-pitched him down a half step or just stay in the key he climbed to? Any advice on this is appreciated. Thanks, God bless.
