Hey all,

Someone over on reddit asked me about substitutions, so I ended up writing a post that came out pretty good so I turned into a full blog entry:A Primer on dim7 Substitutions – Part I: Bartok Substitutions

I really think aspiring Gospel musicians should think through this, cause its one of the keys to that cool, substituted jazzy sound that beginners are always asking about.  I don't think I've ever read an article that breaks that down all in one place, so here is part one an article that I think does.
