My Blessings from God (My new DW Bebop kit)

Hey LGM,

I just wanted to share these pictures with you.  This is not to show you the type of gear or "show off," but more of what a blessing God has given me and give all thanks to Him for not only opening doors in my career, but for having mercy on my soul because I know that I am not worthy of all his blessing.  Thanks for taking time to check them out.  By the way, I'm not a crazy specs type of guy, so I"ll try to answer any questions.  LOL!!!!   ;D Take care and God Bless.  Most importantly stay humble........

Since your not that crazy on specs... can you do like a quick list of specs for both?

Wow, You ARE blessed!! :o :o... Isn't that the same kit Tony Royster Jr. used in the Pure Energy DVD? ?/? :-\ :) ;)

YO LGM,

Thanks for the love!!!  I'll try to get some specs in soon.  I'm at work right now and there's too much to type.  As far as my kit being the same as Tony's, it's the same collector's series in a Satin Oil Finish, but Tony's kit had a Ebony finish (I think).  Plus Tony has another bass drum with Woofers and an 18" tom on the side of his kit.  I'm telling you, this is a blessing, plus I bought BOTH KITS on EBAY!!!!!!!!  Guys, don't sleep on ebay.  You can get a great used kit for a very reasonable price.   So if you're looking for a kit check out ebay.  Again, I give all the glory and honor to Him for being so amazing to me and having mercy on my soul.  Take care and God Bless.  Remember stay humble....

Hey by the way...

The ride cymbal I have on the Bebop kit is a K Custom Special Dry Ride and Zildjian, just decided to discontinue it, so get it ASAP before people start raising the price because it will be a "rare" cymbal in a few years.  Take care and God Bless.

...I just finished watching Steve Smith on MD Fest '03 and his sounded superb.  As a matter of fact, his whole cymbal set up sounded superb.  The Special Dry Ride is a must.  You know who else uses that Ride?  Jeremy Haynes. ;) ....well, at least he used to. ;) ;D  (Paiste)

Hey StraightPocket!!!

First of all I am not rich by any means man.  I'm just blessed and found some great gear on ebay.  As far as what I do, I am actually a music educator at a high school, so in essence I am a High School Band Director.  I went to school for a few years and through God's favor and plan I landed the job before I graduated actually the month I was graduating LOL!!  It's a really long story, but God made things happen.  I got my certification, passed all my test, degree, etc and now I'm a band director.  I also play out ALOT and play for some Spanish Christian Arists, teach at a music academy, etc.  I just know how to spend my money and it's taken me years to get everything that I have now.  So start off small and then eventually you'll have a nice set up.  But keep God first and All things will fall into place.  Take care and God Bless and most importantly stay humble.
