Zildjian Titanium Cymbals!!
« on: April 27, 2005, 12:00:44 AM »
I have recently compeleted  a project which involved aquiring all the zildjian titanium cymbals. Well I am pleased to say that I am satisfied with my purchases. These cymbals have a unique sound. I use the 20" rock ride, 18"and 16" med. crash, 14" solid hats, 10" flast splash and the 18" thin china. If anyone else uses these or has tested them out, tell me what you think 8)

I agree I like the flash splash and the hi hats but out of the titanium crash cymbals the rock crash sounds better.

( piggy backing) The splash sounds ok, but the other cymbals suck. ( in my opinion) I guess it depends on your style.  It may work for Rock or progressive music. I'm not feeling it for gospel and r &b, ... or anything else.

Actually I think it works great for gospel music. Really i think anything works for gospel music because you can find everything in gospel music from r&b, jazz, hip/hop, etc... So really it's how your individual style is not so much how your cymbals sound

I thought I said that, but my bad. I must correct myself by saying I"M  not feeling them. To quickly elaborate, they remind me of the B8's. They have an annoying aftertone.  Besides the splash, the entire series does not suit my playing style.
