Rodgers or Pipe Organ

Are there any Rodgers organ or pipe organ fans out there?  I play a Rodgers three manual 945 series organ with a PR300 sequencer at AME Union Church in Philadelphia.  Though it doesn't have leslie speakers I can adjust the tremulants and create a Hammond sound with the flutes and partial stops.  Believe it or not gospel can be played on a pipe organ or classical instrument.  It's all a matter of registration and technique.

I have a question does the technique(s) for playing a hammond organ or any organ similiar to it vary from playing a pipe organ?

The technique for playing gospel on a Pipe Organ will be slightly different than a Hammond  because of how the sound is produced on a pipe organ.  A pipe organ's sound is produced by vibrating air molecules in the pipe.  Depending on the size of the pipe and the size of the church there may be a slight delay in the sound from when you press the key and when the sound is actually produced; so you may here a lag.  To compensate you can cut the value of the notes and play them shorter than actually written so that there is not as great a latency in response.
