well it's good that you wanna learn all of that. I don't think I'm understanding your question that much. But if your question (since your a drummer) is how to produce material for live situations I can help. But, is that what your asking.

well, i'm tryna to combine some programmed stuff with live playing. we don't have a bass guitarist or any other instrumentalists. we juss have a keyboardist(which is NOT always, but sumtimes)...but this summer we got two pple we r gonna be usin' as our keyboardists and i want to program percussion and also be able to help program bass and other instruments coz the guys who are gonna be playin' the keyboardists don't have a clue and all.
we got an Ensoniq TS-12 Keyboard , a iS50 Korg Music Workstation, and a PSR 640 or sumthing lyke dat keyboard...i'm very concerned abt the Ensoniq and Korg...
Also, I want to learn the language of programming, sequencing and looping...

Hope dat helps in explaining wat I'm tryin' to get help on

Well having Reason 2.5 you should know already about the many high sample rate synths, drums, and so on that comes with it.  But the midi capability of Reason is a good step. Using a computer with with a good sound card (64bit/192hz) you can produce professional audio tracks.  Getting back to the midi - there are many different type of midi controllers you can use if you play a live instrument such as guitar, drums etc.  You can record your live performances into Reason and then manually edit any errors or timing and then assign whatever instrument plug-ins you have available to each take.  The computer software available today can give digital instruments a reality feel to it. To actually record vocals I suggest the same computer setup except with an external compressor and a good microphone routing to your sound card and using recording software such as Sound Forge 8.  I hope I helped in some form or fashion

may GOD bless you! :D
