Who is your favorite Organist???

Mines is of course the great Twinkie Clark of the Clark Sisters...who are your favorite organists?

Twinkie is AWESOME!  But, right now (and not a gospel player) my favorite is Tony Monaco.  But that will change!  There are really so many great players.

My favorite Organist is Christopher Hatter from Ruston, La.  He didn't learn by being taught but by practicing and talent.

My favorite organist is DeJuan Jeff Seay of Hixon,TN.   Not only is he a great organist but I found him to be a humble, friendly, down to earth Christian Man.   His attitude impressed me . I think it's important that musicaian be humble and not big headed.  Keep it up Mr Seay.

Have'nt listen to alot of organist but for now I think Twinkie Clark is awesome especially the title "Accept what GOD allows" she really rocks on that cd.

My Favorit organist that I know personally would be Pastor David Holt of Macon, GA. He is not only good but the man is anointed. He can preach, will preach, and sometimes I even think that he gone make that organ preach.

Here in Atlanta GA,  The Organist of Organists is Rev. Sue Hampton.  She is the owner of Love Divine Music School and Ministries.  She is also a close associate of Twinkie Clark.  She's AWESOME!!  :lol:  :lol:

Hammondman, have you heard the Joey DeFrancesco and Tony Monaco "Generations" CD?  They both play the new Hammond B3 on the CD.  (It's kind of a marketing CD for Hammond, as both players are on the company payroll.)

Havent heard that cd, I do have the "Incredible" CD with Joey and Jimmy Smith, and the title is correct, it's INCREDIBLE!

Has anyone ever heard of Sylvester Burks? well I have 2 instructional tapes by him and his is one baad organist also.

My favorite Organist are people like Hammondman, Al, Myst, and Sam Tolbert.  Not only are they good on the keys, but they will actually take the time out to teach you do do what they do.  That is a rare thing now days.

Melvin Crispell..that man is has some God-given talent, the way he plays the mad chords the way he does and all the wonderful music he composes, that will undoubtly be classics in years to come.

Ralph Lofton is a good one too.

As far as females, I like Twinkie and Kathy-Taylor Brown, both are awesome with their talent and my inspirations to become as good as them soon.

My favorite organist is Ivan Powell... I love the way he plays sacrifice on Karen Clark's cd!!!!!
