I'm grooving with a four string Warwick and running a SWR SM 900Watt  and a 1000watt power handling 4X10 Swr Cabinet .

A friend of mine did some tight stuff on my Bass just recently. He adjusted my strings at an angle to where my E string is up where it is really nice to hammer and the others get lower towards the G string where I can hammer, slap, pluck or even tap very easily.....

God Bless You,
jayzee

What up fellas! (And the lady or two that I've seen post here).  I'm glad to find this messgae board.

I go by VernDog.  Been playing bass for about 10 yers.  Probably should be better than I am, but I've got the 9 to 5 and two kids, so my priorities get shifter every now and then.

As for what I play.... I'm very fortunate to have acquired a Fodera Imperial 6 string with a Chestnut top and a 36 inch scale.

My rig is an Eden Navigator with a Crest CA-9 Power amp.

For cabs I have 2 Epifani 110's, 2 Epifani 112's and an Epifani 310.

I look forward to hittin' ya'll up for tips and tricks.

Keep it low!

Which modeling amp do you use?  Behringer or the Bean Pod?

Does it work well for you?  I've been thinking about getting one of those.

I have th Behringer V-amp. If your on a strict budget this lil baby will do just fine. It's no Boss but you won't find a Boss modeler/effects  floor unit for $100. I've useed it live at church it did the job well. I just wish they would have put an on/off switch on it.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't the GSR a Lower model?

So basicly you have a high end sports car with budget Pep Bpys tires?

LOL!  So you guys want to clown my setup...

Yeah, the GSR is the low end.  I am looking to upgrade eventually.  I'm waiting until my skills are upgraded to another level.  A new bass will be my reward.  I am thinking about a BTB 6 string.  I can get a one under 1G.  I really want to nail down these walking bass lines first.  Chord construction seems to be key in creating bass lines.  Right now I'm stuck in playing more scalular stuff and I want to really broaden my note choices.  I will post when I get the new bass.

BTW I do have a high end sports car, but they need new tires.

I am the proud owner of a new Ibanez SRX 300. The store wanted $400 but I got it for $145 out of pocket. Store credit and a trade in allowed this to happen!

I just looked this bass up on the internet now it says it can go for $430 but it's passive mine is active. Oh well dont matter it sounds great anyhow and it fits nicely into my budget  :D  thank you father for all my blessings counted and uncounted! Praise God!
