Hey Im new to guitar and im 13

Hello my name is Henry, and i been playing in church for more than 5 years playing drums and i was thinking maybe i play guitar. Our Church is small and most of our musicians are my age or smaller playing trumpet guitar drums and piano. I want to play guitar cause i love the sound and the feel of it and if you can give me some  basics and advice that would be cool,

Hi Henry, and welcome to the form.  So you want to be a guitar palyer eh?  Cool.  Do you have a teacher?  Having someone show you at least a few things will go a long way.  But the main thing is to relax and have fun.  As far as gear goes, get a Strat (opinions wil vary).  But don't get too stressed out about that subject.  There are plenty of good quality guitars in a variety of price ranges and styles.
