A few that I really like are "We Supply" By Stanley Clarke, "Good Times" By Chic, "Running Away" By Roy Ayers, "Glide" by Pleasure and I "Want To Say Thank You" by Pastor Rudalph Mckissick Jr.

I like We Supply. What about Silly Putty by Stanley Clarke?

OOPS!  Did I just date myself?  LOL

After all...I am one of original Ol' Skool musicians from that genre.  My favorites have been the work of Verdine White of EWF, Larry Graham's work with both Sly and the Family Stone and his own Graham Central Station, and so on.
From His gifts comes my praise.

I like catchy bass lines... that are simplistic... Bill Withers comes to mind...
"Lovely Day", "Lean on ME", "Just the Two of Us", "Use Me" ... mayne!  Okay I'm back..

Bass Lines I dig now... very simplistic... "You are the Living Word" - Fred Hammond

I also like "Keep your Head to the Sky" on Kirk's new Hero Album... I think Verdine White should take credit for that one Right?

Probably Olhos Coloridos by this Brazillian guy named alex costa. This is a fast tune that uses thumb slapping, tripple popping and other fast things. (How do you triple pop???) :o

I am really starting to have fun with John P. Kee's "At The Cross".  My praise team is working on that for Easter Sunrise Service.

Peace,

James

Well I have to say hands down that one of the many best slow bass lines goes to Tye Tribbetts song "Superstar". There has to be someone who agrees with me on that one. I also can't leave out the one and only Jaco Pastorius.

Godbless everyone
