Renting Church Music?
« on: December 17, 2005, 06:10:08 PM »
There is a song that we're learning at Church.... The song that we're learning came on a CD with 14 other tracks and sheet music for each song.  I was told that it cost $500.00 to rent this book of sheet music with CD, I also saw the very same music collection from the original publisher for $29.95 and the CD alone for 16.95 to buy and have NOT for rent. Now my question is why would someone rent something for $500.00 that can be baught for $29.95? Am I missing something here? Maybe I am thats why I'm asking.

I think I'm missing something.  That truly makes no sense to me at all.

Well actuall this is what I was TOLD, but the reason I checked is because it didn't sound right to me. And if the full set is 29.95 and the CD itself is only 16.95, why on earth would anything about this music or using this music cost 500.00? I'm starting to believe that this person likes to tell tall tales. In fact here is the link to where the music can be baught.
