ON MIKE PORTNOYS NEW MONSTER KTI FOR DREAM THEATER, HE HAS A 9X9" TOM. WHOA, I DIDN'T KNOW THAT THAT WAS A SIZE MADE FR BOTH DRUMS AND HEADS...... 8O

Tama used to always make waird sizes...6, 9, 11...But sales were low on them so they stoped around 13, 14 years ago.

As a Portnoy Fanatic, I can tell you that Mike has some things custom made from Tama as he's one of their signature artists.  He likes weird sizes.  His Signature Max Splash come in 7 inches and 9 inches.
