BISHOP STOP!  Do you know that even at the "funeral parlor" that I call a church home, we can break out and say "Come let us worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness...." and hats will fly!?  Well, maybe two hats....three on a good Sunday.....but that's better than the usual zero.

AND EVERYDAY IS A DAY OF THANKSGIVING?  UGH!

Yea, "Come let us worship the Lord" is another great song at most churches.
Despite our communication technology, no invention is as effective as the sound of the human voice.

I also have to put in the Classic....."THERE IS NO WAY"

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have the winner right here! I don't know of ANY church that could sit back on this song.

Yes, we DO have a winner!

The choir sung this song the Sunday before last and the Temple was TORE UP for at least 10mins.  Folks running, bucking, hollin and that included the choir.  It's the all time church rocker!

Yet, I would like to submit another two. Remember "Call Him Up"? That would have the church in a stupor.  "Call Him Up and tell 'em what you whaaaaaaaaat!" LOLOL Whew!
The other...... "Genesis" Now those of you that haven't heard this song, if your choir can MASTER the techniques of this song, then you'll can call 'em to the alter, baptize 'em, cut of the lights and lock the doors 'cause church is OVER!!!!!!

Be Blessed
The Bishop

Who wrote "There Is No Way" (I don't know it) and "Genesis"(I like that song)?

I know you all remember T. Whitfield's "I Shall Wear A Crown".  That's a classic that our church can hear all day......the choir can't finish the song without cryin'.

For my church it would have to be "I'm Running For My Life".

If anybody asks you whats the matter with me, just tell 'um I'm saved, sanctified, Holy Ghost filled, water baptized, I got Jesus on my side, I'M RUNNIN' FOR MY LIFE!
I won't take nothing for my journey now. No turnin' back, no turnin' back.

At my old church is was the following:
All In His Hands
You Should Be A Witness
Look Where He's Brought Me From
Say The Word
The Lord Is Blessing Me
I'm Ddelivered Today

My Current church is:
I Told The Storm
We Offer Praise
For Every Mountain
Encourage Yourself
Everyday Is A Day Of Thanksgiving
I Still Have Joy (Tye and Colorado Mass)
If it had not been for the Lord on my side, where would I be!!!

Somebody told me
He'll lift your burdens
When you get in trouble
He'll bring you out

Alright, Alright
Alright, Alright
He'll bring you OUT!!!

I've always loved that song!

THERE IS NO WAY is a clear favorite, and timeless at that, I just heard it Saturday Night at a conference.  Which reminds me:

bishop2, were you at Robbye's conference this year?

I guess no one around here has ever heard of a little song called..."MY SOUL HAS BEEN...ANCHORED IN THE LORD"?????

                                                 a killa that'll thrill ya. ;)
I'd rather be imperfectly inspired, than to be perfectly entertained...

Whatever the problem, I put it all in His hands
I know, He can solve them, I put it all in His hands
This and that, I put it all in his hands
This this and that I put it all in his hands
This this this and that, I put it all in His hands

No matter how great or small, He's the master of them allllllll

I put it all, yessss I put it all...
in His hands
