Does anyone have a tuning tip or method (like super tight or medium tension) that they have for this snare???

I would recommend going with a medium tight tuning. and maybe the snare side a half a turn tighter.

Should do the trick.

God Bless.

medium to medium tight top: Evans G2 medium tight bottom : Evans Hazy 300. 1 piece of Moon Gel.

The snare is already small. tune for a fat sound. The audience will hear the crack but it shouldn't be overbearing to them or the musicians and praise team. Do not use this as a main snare because that is not what it is for. It is musically offensive as a man snare.
