Maestro, please get that album man! Chris is the truth. No hype. Plus the arrangements and musicianship is incredible. It's my favorite CD ever. You could even try the DVD if ya want.

You're really endorsing him, huh?

Well, I'm about to check it out, and see what the deal is. I hope I can come back, feeling the way you feel. I'm tired of debating three hundred guys, lol...

Oh yea I'm endorsing him man. Man everybody talks about Chris' chops, but he's musical. You can't say that for most drummers nowadays.
Just play music...

Wierd chops? I'd say Spanky and calvin rodgers. Calvin's foot patterns are unheard of and rediculous. Listen to that song Leanin on God from Bishop Larry Trotter's cd. He's got an ill feel. Spank is just wierd all together. I listen to some concert clips and think to myself who comes up with that kind of stuff. Same thing wit eric tribbett and Chris dave, they aren't from here.

Funny u mention his name coz I remember him durin' an interview, sayin' dont' try to copy my style of play coz I'm a drummer/percussionist and he meant dat literaly coz when he joined Dave Matthews, they did not have a percussionist so he filled both rows of been the drummer and percussionist...

Just thot I would share...
