I have a Yamaha TRB1005... I LOVE IT... its beautiful, and sounds great.  Outshined all the basses, I played in its price range at the guitar center.. for the sound I want to achieve.

I have a Yamaha BBN5, passive 5 string. I like the tone actually I love it. It's easy and comfortable to play, and the B is better then good. Payed $300 new. can't complain.

I have a Yamaha RBX 765A. It's a good bass in it's price range. Great output.

I have the TRB-6p the older one with the bridge piezo pickups, I think yamaha is the best and I will only get yamaha.  Honestly this was my first high-end bass and really I don't know anything else, so I'm just sticking to what I know.
