Hey ya'll, Happy Black History Month!
My sister forwarded me these pictures that were just released by the Birmingham paper today, taken during the Civil Rights Movement. They never ran them originally because they were afraid of causing an uproar in those turbulent times.
They are sad pictures, I thought ya'll would want to see these.
They remind me of how times have changed since then.
By posting this, I'm not trying to disrespect white people, I'm white myself.
I just thought it was important these be seen since they've never been seen before.
