Here are my favorite progressions I got off of LGM...this is the original post.

Progressions" dtmusician writes "ALL PROGESSIONS ARE IN Ab. Learn in Each Key.

The 2-5-1. It is  Bb/F-Ab-C#,
                       Eb/G-Bb-Eb,
                       Ab/Ab-C-Eb.

The 7-3-6. It is  G/F-Bb-C#,
                       C/E-Ab-Bb-Eb,
                       F/Eb-G-Ab-C

The 2-3-4-5. IT is Bb/E-Ab-Bb-C#,
                         C/Eb-Ab-C,
                         C#/E-Ab-Bb-C#,
                         Eb/Eb-Ab-C

The 5-6-2-5-1. It is Eb/C-Eb-Ab,
                           F/C-Eb-F#-A
                           Bb/Ab-D-F,
                           Eb/Bb-Eb-C#-G,
                           Ab/C-Eb-Ab.

The 5-1-4. It is       Eb/F#-Bb-C#-F,
                            Ab/F#-Bb-C-EborF
                            C#/F-Ab-C-Eb

It is important to learn these in each key. I garantee you will find and least one of these progressions in ever gospel congregational. Im only 17 and have only been playing 3 and a half years, but these progressions, which I learned from minister of music Keith Newton of KC, and some others have made my ear as strong as musicians who have been playing 10 years. It is also important to know all the names of these chords and what each of them sound like to those who like me want to be live musicians. if you don't belive me I got that from producer Alex Asaph Ward and he knows his stuff. Lastly it is important to pray each time before you practice that the lord touch your ears, hands, and that he gives you the desire to want play for him and the desire to practice.
