How to post pics in your thread.... Step by step

I posted this on another brother's thread but thought a few people might benefit from this

To upload pics so that you can post them on this forum you need to, first, upload them to a server or some kind of image hosting site. There's a bunch of free photo hosting sites available. Some of the more popular sites are

http://photobucket.com/

http://www.villagephotos.com/

Set up your account online and then upload pics from you PC. Once the pics are uploaded from your PC, the image hosting site will assing it a URL. That process looks something like this:
First, I uploaded the pic to my photobucket account.


Photobucket gives you the url's in different forms:


In this forum you will need to use the 3rd one that says img



Finally, copy and paste the line that starts and ends with the img into your reply or post. Use the preview button before you post to make sure you got the picture URL in there right. If all is good you should have the image in your post looking like this:
