Senior Choir
« on: March 16, 2006, 01:41:00 PM »
I was reading some of the posts about the Male Chorus and it got me wondering if anyone stills has a senior choir or what we use to call them the inspirational choir?

My church still has an active senior choir. The members are getting older and are not replenishing the ranks so we've started to integrate the senior choir with the mass choir to create more of a sanctuary or combined choir.
Praise Jesus!

We still have a senior choir. Our members are also getting older, but it seems like they are doing more gospel choir songs now than senior choir songs. For example, this month they did "At the Table" by Richard Smallwood. But I personally felt that the song was too complicated for a senior choir. I believe that our churches still need a senior choir to keep our seniors active within our church.
