buying piano
« on: March 28, 2006, 08:48:44 AM »
I'm thinking about buying an electric piano, but don't know much about brands etc. Thought folks here might have some suggestions. I want a good feel to the keys, and a decent sound. I'd like to pay under $500, but can spring for more if I have to. Any ideas people might have would be great. Thanks

pastora99 , welcome to the LGM website.  Are you looking for purely a piano board or do you want a sequencer to go with it???

I'm pretty new to this and don't really know what a sequencer is. I guess I'm just looking for a piano that sounds decent and has a good touch. Thanks. By the way, the LGM site is great - glad I found it.

Casio has a fairly nice keyboard with weighted keys for like 450.  You can even get it at Best Buy I think.  If your a serious player your gonna have to spend much more on a keyboard, buy this one is good for a home, or maybe even small gigs
