I would just like to thank everyone here at LGM who has offered tips and advice (in your own ways). I have actually grown by much of the stuff (positive and negative) that I've read on this site. I won't lie and say my playing has increased exponentially, but I have incorporated some of the tips into my practice routines and playing and it has actually helped me. I can feel myself paying more attention to what my playing will contribute to the music.
I would also like to thank everyone who told me about trying the Evans Genera head on my untameable maple snare. I tried it, and, even though I don't really like Evans, I must say it made the snare stop screaming and start singing. This snare hasn't sounded this good since I bought it.
Thank you all.
