some help
« on: April 10, 2006, 02:05:55 PM »
This has been kind of frustrating at times. i play piano at church we have a organ too. But my issue is, what can i do to make the piano louder, besides the pedal... Sometimes when i am playing ill tell my brother to turn down the organ some because it is drowning me out! then some people will ask "why do you still play, we cant hear you anyways".... but that is very discouraging for me because music is in my heart and i dont know what to say... i just kind of play it off. So can anyone help me on this. several times i thought about bringing my keyboard from home and the amp ect but that can be too much hastle every sunday? I just need a little advice--- thanks!
To get something I've never had.... I have to do something I've never done. *Salvation will pay off*

You will have to go with the keyboard and amp if they wont let you mic the piano. Or you can just bring the amp and connect a mic to the amp and put the mic in the piano or under it. I have seen it done.
Vision without action is just day dreaming. I miss practicing.
