I suppose my rig is a "low" end one (pun intended).

2001 Alvarez A5EBC  (w/ Dean Markley Blue Steels)

Hartke Kickback 15

1978 Peavey Mk III 400 (up for sale)
1982 Peavey 215 (up for sale)
19?? Peavey 118 (loaned out)

Low end is better than no end... I go through the PA system, so my amp is a CRATE 30 watt Practice combo.  for Home..

Ill chime in.

Lakland 55-01
Fernandes 4 string
Fender Jazz American Deluxe

Ashdown 300H
Genz Benz GBE 600
Genz Benz NEO 212

Bootzilla Wah Pedal w/Fuzz
Digitech Effects Chorus
Digitech Jamman Looper

Just got the 600 and its DELICIOUS!!  I dont really need 600 watts at the moment, but it was an ebay steal.  I LOVE that amp and its only been a week.  If I can get my hands on a Yamaha TRB1006, Ill be good for a long while.
Praise Him!

Roscoe LG3005 #4599
Flamed Burl Redwood Top
Swamp Ash Body
Antique Yellow Finish
Bartolini 3-Way EQ (18V)
Fretted Birdseye Maple Fingerboard
Black Hardware

Right now I'm playing through an old Peavey combo, but I'm looking to change that... the Bergantino IP cabs really call to me, even direct without an offboard pre.  Gotta save some loot and make it happen soon.

sorry if the topic kinda goes off track, but since there's so many topics already on the board, i was kinda weary about starting a new one. its still relevant cause its about gear.

i just got  a Peavey Tour Series 700 bass head. does anybody have this head? i just would like some feedback. pros, cons, whatever.
also im lookin to get a 4 x 10 cab. i been checkin out models by GK, Peavey, and SWR. any suggestions?

Peavey Tour 410 (700 Watts)
http://www.guitarcenter.com/shop/product/Peavey-Tour-410-Bass-Cabinet-?full_sku=480317

Gallien Krueger 410SBX-Plus 4 X 10 (The plus version is 800 Watts)

hey 6stringapprentice how does that rogue play for you? I had a five string rogue and loved it but the electronics went out on it early so I sent it back. I exchanged it for a Squire (fender) Jazz four string. No frills but it's solid.

If I were to buy any more cabs and I do want somethingelse it will be an Avatar. I can't see me getting anything else. I think I'd  get an Avatar 4x10 at 4ohms.

I have an Avatar B212 and a B410. I used to prefer the 212. Now I prefer the B410. It can even handle my 7-string, which is strung from F#-C.
