First seek GOD so that he can direct your path in which way to go. Next establish you an Executive Board. This way you can have some help in setting the guidelines and you will not stress yourself out by making all the decisions. Make sure that you have good and dedicated musicians. Finally get your voices together. These are the steps I took all three times I started groups and choirs. If you have any questions you can email me at jamirajo@bellsouth.net.

Be Blessed and Good luck,

The fact that she's starting a community choir, does it have to be under the church that she attends?

1. Write out a mission statement.
2. Get musicians.
3. Get a musical mentor.
4. Network with churches.
