Wal-Marts finest... and only drum set  :D but at least it is not the Roy Rodgers paer and tin kits from Sears that Dennis and Carter Beauford came up on at first.

I HAD ONE OF THEM JOINTS!!!  My very first kit had The Muppets on the bass drum head!!! And the heads were made of heavy weight paper!!

I'm not gonna deny that I've owned/playd on some pretty crappy gear!!  Its funny to think back on all the terrible gear that i've owned... (shakes head in disgust)

Drum sound is really a personal thing.  Everybody has a sound that they like and a sound that they don't. 

GENERALLY speaking, kits that are made from quality wood sound better than  those pressed-wood kits.  But then there are some very inexpensive kits that sound better than some High-end kits......It's not an exact science.

So everybody won't agree on this one.
