Gambit...I get kind of concerned when new cats pop they head in but is it should be fun.  Group 3 aint no joke this year.  Watch out Group 4...we com'in for ya.

Yo...yall got to pm sixstringpoet and the dude from Canada...I forgot his alias.

By the way...I've just began playing church gigs again.  All around I think we have better chemistry than last but time will tell.

Basically to record on your computer you can use a mic or you can get a 1/4 to 1/8 plug from Radio Shack and plug the 1/4 into the bass and the 1/8 into the computers mic jack.

Then you go to the start menu and select Accessories-->Entertainment-->Sound Recorder.
When you use this program to record it only gives you 60secs of recording but you can get more time by recording some dead space then keep decreasing the speed of the recording and you will see the seconds of recording time go up. Rewind and record. When you save the file choose Save As. If you save it without changing the recording rate it will be a regular size .wav file.

What I do is when the Save As box comes up click the button that says Change. When the next window comes up change the Format list box to Mpeg layer 3 and you will decrease the size of the file to mp3 size. Save it and it will be ready for upload.

Well, we have less than a week to go,and I have one more rule, I will not participate in this bass-off because I composed these songs and I think, however slight, I have an advantage. But here is the new rule, it is called the composer's challange. Basically, in this or future bass-offs, if you would like to challenge the composer on one of their own songs then simply start a thread with the song you want challenge and title it composer challenge and the song # i.e. Composer's challange Song 4, anyone from any group can challange the composer (for this bass-off it will be me). But no one would be silly enough to challenge me! God Bless, Peace!

I dont fully understand the rules....but ya'll can count me in Group 1 (a little under a year playing)

By the way which rule did you not understand?

Holding it down for group 2!

I havent been on my grind for a good amount of time, but I would just be plain old cheating if I went to group 1. BTW, if you know you have advanced skill, DONT GO TO A LOWER GROUP JUST TO SHINE!!!!

Hey, I'm on a my MAC and I won't trade it for the crappy PC.  The only reason why I can't download is because everything is not supported for the MAC.  Have you been watching the MAC vs. pc commercials lately.  MAC 4 LYFE.
