what do u think about a SCHECTER Stilleto Custom 5

im A begginer bass player, and i was looking for some input on picking out a nice 5 String Axe.

i love my scheter to death.

I have the SCecter Stilleto Diamond Elite 5 and can't say enough good things about it.  I picked up alot of expensive basses before picking this one and this thing is like another finger on my hand.

Ultimately go and play one before just taking our advice here htough.l

That is the key.  :)
I play the Stiletto studio 6 and I wouldn't trade it for any other bass.
If you try it and you like it, then buy it.  8)

I comes stock with EMG pickups but I'm planning to have a set of Bartolini pickups installed. I love the tone of Barts. ;D
