I know probably err body on this site has saw the Akira Jimbo "Pulse" video, I just wanna let yal here one of my favorite songs on the tape "Guru Guru Labyrith" and "Funky Punch"

I remember when i bought this on VHS.  I took it into school and showed it to my band director (who was also a drummer) and he was slack-jawed watching this video (as was i). 

My favs are Funky Punch and Big man.  I like Funky Punch because its just that...  FUNKY.  Not to mention that Akira is really laying down the 4-way on EVERYTHING!!  And i like big man because its nice and heavy!!!

This guy is a friggin beast!!

Of course Akira ripped. I must say I like his early vids better than his latest

You should check out his stuff with Dennis Chambers and Greg Howe.  Its BANANAS!!  I had a clip of the three of them RIPPING Weather Reports "Punk Jazz" to SHREADS!!!  Its friggin awsome!! 

On a side note, Tye and G.A. also cover this song (or a snippet of it) in one of their songs.

I never realized that, but i know "Brain Storm" was CRAZY!! I was really out of words on that song, Punk Jazz was INSANE (in a good way) Gentle Hearts was a grreatCD

The bass playerTetsuo is only on Akira's first 2 vids I think... from Independence on he is not there. It's all Akira doing the electronics...
