This past Sunday, I played my version of "Amazing Grace".  I dedicated it to my father who passed away in April.  I played it in both services.  The Holy Spirit filled me up and then some...  When it was over, each time...I wept....

There is Power in music... Music is the great equalizer.

Peace,

Wolfram

Wolfram,

Sorry to hear about the loss of your father.  My prayers go out to you and your family.

Yes, music is definitely a powerful tool.  Especially when the musician has been through some trials and is playing under the anointing.

What instrument do you play?

Be encouraged!

"Praise is what I do" is a VERY powerful song and I feel God's presence when I play.  For me, it HAS to be "AWSOME GOD!!!"  It was the recessional song at my wedding and when I play it now, I can hardly play it all the way through.  God is TRULY awsome and just the simplicity of the words of the song ministers to my heart and everyone in the audience.

Welcome, Sax4Him!

I love both of those songs!  I can see why you chose them.

Let God continue to use you for His glory!

Be Blessed!

How about ("Changed")  by Tramaine Hawkins  (old School)
                 (Stand)   by Donnie Mc Clurklin
and the list goes on an on   (from old to new)   Nothing gets old with the lord.  The delivery may change with time but the message is ALWAYS the same.

I love playing singing and also playing an instrumental solos with all sort of variations.

You can work with any song to make it very inspirational.

God Bless

Nice choices, Wash and The Unit!   I may try practicing those songs myself!  I need to add more songs to my repetoire.  You just never know when you may be asked to play.

Another one of my favorites is " Center of My Joy" Richard Smallwood. Along with, " Your Tears" Paul  Morton. Both have a vamp section near the end that will allow you to minister under the anointing.
In everything you do, ALWAYS put God 1st!

Sandi Patty's Arrangement of "Blessed Assurance" and "Jesus Paid it All". You can find Jesus Paid it all at www.bartlettmusicacademy.com on the Mp3 Recordings page of teachers.

Wow!!! Something I can relate too. I think that the most powerful songs I've played are:

Great is thy Faithfulness
God is All around (By Anointed)
Great is Your Mercy (By Donnie McLurkin)
His Eyes are on the Sparrow
Let it Rain (Bishop Paul Morton)
