I don't have a resume either, and no one has ever asked to see it. Never really thought of it before!

Yes I have a resume also. You should always have something that shows your experience and references.


Exactly and welcome to LGM!  Since musicians consider their talent to be their job, then why not have a resume.  It outlines your experience.  Even though you may show them how you sound, they (employers) need to know where you have worked and for how long.  It shows stability.

That is so true Terri... Its always good to have one handy... You never know when you will be asked for it... Sad to say that there are a lot of shady musicians out there that has caused a lot of churches to begin to ask for them... I know with my church we request a musician's resume and /or a reference letter...

I was wondering how many of you have a resume reflecting your musical experience...

Don't worry about what the Players are doing...you just concentrate on practicing...

I think my church contacted my old pastor. They handed me and information sheet that asked if they could,, and if no, why not. I allowed it
