MAn ec2's my fooot!!! Lets not all pretend like remo did not pave the way. Remo is my pick, and someone mentioned oil drying up in the pinstrpes? Remo pinstripes last a long time and are more durable than evans. Plus you get a warmer, more defined sound.....
Pinstripes in particular nor REMO iheads in general get a warmer sound than EVANS. They couldn't if they wanted to if for nothing else the chemical/maufacturing makeup. The more flex you have the warmer the sound that is why Aquarians are warmer than EVANS. Aquareians also are not made to be cranked up in most of their products because they will pop.
