Home bass amp question
« on: August 29, 2004, 06:26:16 PM »
What are some good stats for a home bass amp? Which amp do you guys recommend? I have a 100 watt amp, but the driver sucks. It's a Peavey Black Widow. If I get a new driver, which one should I get?

I'm thinking that 50 watts is good enough for a home system or a new bass driver.

Yeah, I agree.  I have a 10w bass amp for my home.  I dont need to blow myself away at the house.....i just need to her it,  and 10w is loud enough for me.   dont want to deturb the nieghbors either.

I am currently in the process of finding a good travel bass amp.  was thinking in the range of 120 to 300w.

I was thinking that a 30w system would be a little cheesy. I'm going to mainly use it for home use, but I do want it to take a little volume without getting distorted.
