Mike Philly has always been like that even when he played gospel!!! That's right I said it!!! Gospel!!! I want you to go look up James Hall's 1996-1997 release James Hall: Live in New York @ Carnegie Hall. Mike is playing solos on 3 songs and programmed the horns and woodwinds on 2 songs. James Hall spotted him first.
