At night im a low level bass player, by day im NYPD

Be safe out there brotha.  People are just getting crazier and crazier these days.  Would you believe that this past wednesday two guys came into a church on the westside here in chicago and held the entire congregation up at gun point.  They said it was on the day that they were collecting money for a church trip they were taking too.

I'm in Product Development / Product Planning for a really, really, really big car company.  Specifically, working on technology content for vehicles currently in the planning / development window (2009 - 2013).

Peace,

James

you ever get my PM?

And would you ever be interested in moving to chicago if you got a job offer?

I ask because we're looking for some guys in my department (User Interface).

I would be interested.  I did a little designing when I was in school.

I think there is a relation between technical folks and musicians...

I am a lead software developer. I work on both web and windows client applications. I am also focusing more and more on mobile solutions.

Djgroovin', that sorta sounds like my progression.
Hardware Tech, to Network Admin, to Webmaster, to Developer, to Bassist.  There were a few other stops in between.

I maintain my license as a real estate broker so my wife thinks I have a real job, but my passion is music and I devote as much time as I can to playing.

I'm a Technical Support Rep for a software company.  Someone tried to explain to me that  there is a technical part of the brain that both music and computers fall into.  Both fields are extremely technical...

I actually did a study in school on the Mozart Affect, and I had my son listening to classical music while in the womb, and to this day he will only slow down to listen to music.  He's 13 months old and loves music.  he will not watch cartoons, but he will look at tv if there's music up there.  I love music and my favorite subject was math all throughout school.
