Applying scales and fingering to the bass?
« on: February 23, 2007, 03:29:58 PM »
Question:  I play the lead/rhythm guitar and know my scales at an beginner to intermidiate level.  If playing the bass, can i just apply the scales and fingering to the bass or the bass a little different from the lead guitar?

it's the same doc, except the last 2 strings.  If you play a 4 string bassed tuned traditionally (E-A-D-G) it's just like play the low4 strings of a guitar.

Just thicker strings.
