How  and WHEN do you pick songs that will be sang on sunday??

We pick our songs at the rehearsal.Since our mass choir sings on the 2nd and 4th sunday.We pick out the songs that we going to sing on the 1st and third thursdays.

At my old church, they use to pick Songs for Sunday on Saturday.  The MOM got mad at me when I suggueste we needed to pick the songs out a week in advance.
