A song called:_____
« on: January 04, 2013, 03:30:06 PM »
Hi guys back with with another thread. In this video it talks about this song called: "giant steps" is where all of the chords fall into three keys. But he also said that the song used a ii-V-I for each key, ii-V-I for one key and a ii-V-I for another key and a ii-V-I for another key is where the song uses three keys which equals a total of nine chords. He goes on talking about how this guy took three keys and spaced them a major third apart and he played them backwards which created sharp five intervals backwards, or minor sixth. And he goes on to say that this song moves in big intervals like that. So he continues to say that's the reason the song is called: "giant steps" so the key is moving in sharp five intervals.  But my question is how to create a song where the song creates sharp five intervals?
