...fellas and ladies.....we, Sk and myself have been told a few secrets about two drum companies that are going to be making a lot of noise this year at Winter NAMM '07. We will not tell you the secrets since we don't want to be liable but yes, SabianKnight and myself have the scoop on it.

I will tell you guys this....both companies are going to drop all new kits and all new hardware for '07. Out with the old and in with the new. Here's a hint for both companies.....the letter "P".

Pearl man here since 1992. I am so glad I waited. I was gonna get all new hardware and a new rack, but I'll wait and see what they have in store.

It's PDP and Pearl. I don't know why it's considered such a secret, when it's going to be information that is readily available to the public.

...because we can't spoil it until Winter Namm '07, that's why. This thread is just to get everyone excited about Namm and to spread a lil' buzz before the Show.

wow! and today i was gonna pick up a new pdp! thanks again LGM! But i can see why it would be a secret cause letting it out could halt sales on the old gear.

...I'm going to alert everyone right now; WAIT TILL AFTER THE SHOW if you're going to purchase a kit. If you can't wait then that's cool but we advice you guys to wait. The stuff from the show will be hitting stores in March. It may seem like a long time but it isn't. The month of February flies by and we're half way through January.

Man everyones going to NAMM this year but me! I was talking to Calvin and hes playing for Roland on Saturday and hes doing a fan signing for Yamaha on Friday....Go check him out! I was also talking to Billy (Powell) and hes going to be there too, go holla at them!!!!

**Update**

...okay so Pearl has upgraded the Export Series to Maple. They have also discontinued the Session Series and their Satin Hardware. There is a new series of drums called the Vision Series. (I have not seen it yet and still waiting for more details on it.) They also have new badges and brand new hardware which people are saying looks "weird".

...I'm still waiting for the details on PDP.....
