Nice Sound for "God Is Great" by Ricky Dillard
« on: November 03, 2011, 01:24:52 PM »
Howdy LGM,
I have a Triton Studio 61-keyboard, and Im trying to figure out a very nice sound to use while Im playing "God Is Great" by Ricky Dillard.  I normally just use an acoustic piano sound, but Im trying to add a little flavor."  All you sound experts, please be so kind and make some nice sound suggestions, I would appreciate it so much. ;)

God Bless!

I love easy-to-teach/learn choir songs. This is like the ultimate in that category.

I don't have a triton le but you can try a layer of piano with one of those bright electric pianos.
Vision without action is just day dreaming. I miss practicing.

Thank yall for your feedback. Its a very nice upbeat song. I play it decently. I learned alot of it from sheet music and Pianoclubhouse which has very good tutorials. (Thumbs up for Bro. T.J). :D Whenever I get some time, Ill post the chords that I use to play it.. This song modulates about 7 or 8 times. At this particular time, Im the only keys player at my church which has 5 different choirs, and  It aint easy.

Mysteryman, I will go through my banks and see if I have any similar sounds based upon what you have suggested. Thanks brother.
